Keagan is one!

My sweet Keagan turned one!! I can hardly believe it! He is such a fun and silly little guy. He makes us laugh all the time. He has grown so much in the past few months. His little baby face is disappearing and he finally started walking right before his birthday. I now have a toddling toddler on my hands. I am really excited to see how he continues to grow and change over this next year. And, the thought of him being a big brother in 6 months is a bit overwhelming, but we are glad he will have a sibling to grow up with.

We had a great first birthday party for Keagan on Saturday the 22nd. We just had a few close friends and family here at the house to celebrate the day. Tim cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill and we had a really cute cake made for the birthday boy! He loved squishing the icing in between his fingers. He took a few bites, but was ready to be done pretty quickly. After a bath, he was enjoying all his fun new toys he got. I think it was a great party and glad we got to share it with those closest to us.

Celebrate the Celebrations!

Oh my goodness, I feel like we have so much to be thankful for lately and what better way than to celebrate the good times!! We were able to go to Amarillo to celebrate my nephew's, Aidon, first birthday. We don't get to see him often but it was nice to be together with all the family for such a special event. He is such a cutie pie and already walking around. I loved watching him tear into his smash cake. He was so cute opening his gifts when his sissy wasn't helping...lol!

I finally reached the 32 weeks pregnant mark. I feel like this pregnancy is going so slow. I want to meet my lil man so badly and just hold him in my arms and spoil him rotten! I am so thankful I have felt good most of this pregnancy. I am really just a little tired these days and that is all. I tested negative for gestational diabetes after they suspected I might have it. And, all my other tests have been normal. Now we are just praying for a healthy and happy baby to arrive at the end of October.

Next, Tim and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. I am still in love with him and probably more so than when we first met. He has become the most amazing father and is really a great husband. I couldn't have asked God for a better guy! Getting to know him a little more each year and growing old together is all I ever wanted. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him. We took the kids with us on our anniversary trip and we all got to enjoy the Ft. Worth Zoo. It was a really fun day and the kids learned so much about the animals.

Then, we got to meet up with some old friends, ate supper and catch up. It was awesome seeing their growing family. We also visited our old church in Wylie. It was so great to see everyone. I truly miss that church and the challenges Bro. Kris gave us.

We decided to go to a Ranger's game for our anniversary gift to each other. We got the most awesome seats! (Worth every penny!!) Both kids got a foul ball and we got David Murphy's autograph. They displayed our anniversary on the video board and brought us goodie bags with shirts and fun stuff in them too.

Party, Party, Party.....

The month of July is always fun...the kids birthdays are 9 days apart. We always make a big deal on their actual birth date and then have a big nice party for the both of them. Kami turned 6 this year and Kaleb turned 8. We had a sleepover in Odessa for the kids birthday before we left. They each had one friend over and we ate pizza and rented movies. Then I took them to see Karate Kid the next day. We were suppose to eat Olive Garden for lunch after but poor lil Kami got sick in the theater and I had to take their friends home.

Then we moved here to Slaton and we had a birthday party at CiCi's with a handful of good friends. It was a nice, low key birthday party this year. Their actual birthdays were just as fun. We always let them pick something special breakfast that we don't eat very often and a nice restaurant for lunch. Kami had blueberry muffins and Olive Garden and Kaleb choose cinnamon rolls and Caboose. They both got a lot of really nice gifts this year too. We really did have a good birthday year this year.
